This battery grip, together with the camera battery, provides a total of 7 hours of use, which is about 3 hours more than the camera battery alone. The grip has buttons that make it easy to control the camera with one hand.

The camera is attached to the handle's magnetic mount with a ball joint. The handle has a 3.5mm adapter connection for connecting a microphone and a 1/4' thread for attaching other accessories. The handle can be turned into a small and handy tripod by turning two legs.
