A moon filter is usually the first accessory purchased for viewing. The moon is bright to look at, you can see it even with the naked eye. When viewed with a telescope, the brightness is only accentuated.

Moon filters are attachments that screw onto the end of the eyepiece to reduce the amount of light reflected by the moon, making it easier to see the details of the moon.

The lunar filter can also be used to observe Venus, for example, making it easier to observe the different phases of the planet.

Moon Filter Set includes four filters with different effects

Four filters with different power levels make it easy to observe different phases of the moon. The different power levels also allow you to choose the best filter for different eyepiece and telescope combos. The darkest filter with large aperture telescopes and low power eyepieces. Lighter filters with smaller telescopes and stronger eyepieces.
