The color rendering index (CRI), which describes the quality of light, is a high 98 for this light. This means realistic and beautifully reproduced colors and skin tones.

The device comes with a mains power supply, but with a separate V-Mount adapter you can also use V-Lock/V-Mount batteries. Two batteries are required per light.

The brightness is continuously adjustable from 0% to 100%. The color temperature is 5600K, which corresponds to daylight, throughout the entire adjustment range.

The Amara 100x S light has pre-programmed effects that simulate, for example, lightning, the flickering light of a TV, a slightly broken lamp, etc.

In studio conditions, the light is powered by mains power, but the device also supports V-Mount batteries with an optional adapter, making it also suitable for filming on location.

Thanks to the Bowens mount, you can attach a wide range of light modifiers to the light, from Amaran, Godox and Westcott, for example. An umbrella mount is also included as standard.
