The Amaran Ray 120c is an ultra-compact and highly efficient 120W full-color (RGBWW) COB photography light. It is designed specifically for mobile content creators and photographers who need professional-grade light output and accurate color reproduction in tight spaces, in a small home studio or on the go. At just over two centimeters thick and weighing less than 600 grams, the light offers a huge amount of light for its size – it is up to 22% brighter than the physically much larger Amaran 150c.

The Amaran Ray 120c sets a new standard for portable photography lights. At its heart is an all-new OmniColor light chip that expands the red and blue gamut of traditional LEDs. The result is a more balanced and richer light that is captured on camera exactly as your eyes see it – without distracting color aberrations.

Mobile workflow has been taken seriously in the design of the light. The Ray 120c supports the new Amaran Ace E-Lock mount, which you can click into the Amaran Peak battery (sold separately). With this battery you get up to 35 minutes of shooting time at 100% maximum power, completely without cables. In an emergency, you can also power the light via a high-quality USB-C PD power bank.

Usability is enhanced by the physical FlowTurn control wheel on the body, which provides clear haptic feedback as you make adjustments. The light can be connected to your phone in seconds with a simple NFC touch, making it easy to control the entire set over Bluetooth with the amaran app. The light is delivered as a very comprehensive kit, which includes, in addition to the light and power supply, the amaran Octa Dome 30 softbox for creating soft light.
