Designed for Canon EF 800 f/5.6 IS and Sigma 150-600 f/5-6.3 Sport lenses, this mount is Arca-Swiss compatible. This means that with the Wimberley AP-608 mount, you can attach the lens directly to any Arca-compatible tripod head. This means there is no need for a separate quick release plate.

The AP608 aluminum foot has a lower profile than the original foot that comes with your Canon or Sigma lens. The lower profile allows for a lower center of gravity and better balance.

In addition to Arca-Swiss compatibility, the foot has 1/4' and 3/8' female threads, so you can also attach this to tripods that do not have an Arca base.
