Wimberley AP-601 Lens Foot (Canon EF 400mm IS III USM)
Designed for the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens, this lens is Arca-Swiss compatible. This means that with the Wimberley AP-601 foot you can attach the lens directly to any Arca-Swiss compatible tripod head. This means there is no need for a separate quick release plate.
The AP601 aluminum foot has a lower profile than the original foot that comes with your Canon or Sigma lens. The lower profile allows for a lower center of gravity and better balance.
In addition to Arca-Swiss compatibility, the foot has 1/4' and 3/8' female threads, so you can also attach this to tripods that do not have an Arca-Swiss base.
