The Viltrox AF 50mm F1.4 PRO is a so-called normal lens designed for Nikon Z full-frame cameras, and is part of the manufacturer's higher PRO product series. The lens is designed to offer high optical performance and a robust construction for demanding use.

The large f/1.4 maximum aperture combined with a 50mm focal length gives the photographer extensive control over depth of field. The lens effectively separates the subject from the background, and the 11-blade diaphragm structure produces a soft and peaceful background blur. The optical construction consists of 15 elements in 11 groups, including ED and aspherical elements, ensuring high resolution and controlled color reproduction across the entire image area.
