The Laowa 15mm is a very wide-angle, fast lens designed specifically for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Despite the extremely wide 110-degree angle of view, the image is almost completely distortion-free, hence the lens's name Zero-D.

Thanks to its bright light, the lens works great for capturing the Milky Way and the Northern Lights. The lack of distortion helps when capturing cityscapes and buildings. The lens is popular with landscape photographers. This feature is also very useful in tight indoor spaces.

Distortion-free also helps with video shooting. Correcting distortion in video footage is clearly more laborious than in photos. This Laowa 15mm Zero-D saves time and effort. The lens is also very light, only 500g, so it is easily balanced with a gimbal stabilizer.
