The Swarovski CTH Compact Tripod Head is a high-quality, liquid-damped video head for use under a telescope or even a video camera. Thanks to the Arca-Swiss mount, a Swarovski telescope with a tripod collar with an Arca-foot can be attached directly to the video head. The included Arca-Swiss standard quick-release plate, of course, allows you to attach any other telescope to the quick-release plate.

The adjustable counterweight spring allows for proper balancing of front- or rear-weighted telescopes. The spring prevents the telescope or video camera from swaying forward or backward.

There are independent locks for both pan and tilt, so alignment is effortless. For example, once you have found a suitable tilt angle, you can fine-tune the lateral rotation without fear of the tilt changing.

The removable handle allows the tripod head to fit into a small space for storage and transport.
