SmallRig 3737 RA-S280A is an aluminum-framed lighting stand with air suspension and a crossbar for handheld, LED panels, or studio flash units.

The air brake is a safety feature that prevents the leg from collapsing all at once. The feature allows the leg to slowly lower when the lock is released or if the lock is accidentally released.

The cross boom makes it easy to move the light above or at an angle to the subject without the stand itself being in the picture. The length and angle of the boom can be adjusted, as can the height of the light stand. The maximum height of the stand is approximately 2.8 meters and the maximum length of the boom is approximately 1.7 meters. A sandbag / counterweight bag is included, which you can use to prevent the stand from tipping over.

The end of the stand has a fixed 5/8' stud, a standard lamp mounting stud. This also has a standard 1/4' male thread at the end.
