The Slik Pro 700DX AMT tripod is made of an aluminum-magnesium-titanium alloy. This makes the Slik AMT tripod approximately 40% more durable than if the tripod were made of aluminum alone. Aluminum gives the tripod impact and wear resistance. Magnesium and titanium add lightness and strength.

The legs of the stand are grooved on two sides, so they stay firmly in place and do not twist or warp.

The upper leg section is 30.2mm thick, each leg can be adjusted to three different positions, and Slik's reliable quick-release locks make this leg suitable for off-road use.
