Sirui's new Traveler series simplifies tripod naming and offers tripods with an interesting price-performance ratio.
Who this tripod is for: The Traveler 5A travel tripod is a great basic tripod when you don't need any extra features or adjustments from a tripod. This is suitable for those who have a mirrorless system camera, a compact SLR kit or, for example, a superzoom camera, and want a tripod that is really easy to carry with you.
Key features of the stand

The legs of the Sirui Traveler 5 tripod consist of five parts and four twist locks. The twist locks open and close quickly, with only half a turn required. These locks are easy to use even when wearing gloves.
With the legs and center tube fully extended, the maximum height reaches 138 cm, which is sufficient for many shooting situations. The center tube can also be removed completely, reducing the minimum working height to 16 cm. This allows, for example, macro shooting at ground level or otherwise just close to ground level. There is a hook at the bottom of the center tube, to which you can attach, for example, a backpack to support the tripod.
The angle lock of the legs is adjusted using a spring-loaded lever at the base of the leg. The legs fold into three angles, and you can adjust the leg angle for each leg separately, making it easy to balance the tripod even on uneven terrain.
Two of the three legs of the stand have padding, which makes handling the stand comfortable, especially in low temperatures or wet weather.

The ball head that comes with the tripod package has a single locking screw that is used to lock the ball head and pan. The ball head's panning function with a scale makes landscape photography easier.
The ball head comes with an Acra-swiss compatible quick release plate.
