Sigma Mount Converter MC-11 adapter

The Sigma Mount Converter MC-11 is a lens adapter that allows Sigma's Canon EF lenses to be used on full-frame and APS-C Sony E (NEX) mount bodies. The adapter is optimized for Sigma's EOS lenses and Sigma will improve the functionality of these lenses through software updates.

Note: In our tests, the camera also focused with Canon lenses. However, performance and functionality may vary depending on the lens.

The MC-11 is a so-called intelligent adapter, meaning it transmits all electronic information (exposure, autofocus, etc.) between the lens and the body. The adapter is also compatible with the body's image stabilization.

The LED lights on the lens adapter indicate the lens' compatibility. A green light indicates that the lens is compatible, an orange light indicates that the adapter needs an update to ensure compatibility, and a red light (or when the LED is off) indicates that the lens is not compatible with the MC11 adapter.

The Sigma Mount Converter MC-11 has a USB port through which the adapter can be updated, making new Sigma lenses compatible with it in the future.
