The Sigma MC-21 adapter allows you to connect EF mount lenses to L-Mount system cameras such as the Panasonic S1R and S1. As with the MC-11 version for Sony cameras, this adapter can also be used with lenses other than Sigma. You can see the compatibility of the lens immediately with the help of the indicator light on the adapter. The indicator light also tells you if the lens has received a software update.

The Sigma MC-21 can utilize camera features such as different exposure programs, in-sensor image stabilization, and automatically crop images to APS-C size with Sigma DC lenses. The lens's EXIF data is also transferred to the camera's image files correctly.

Lens data is preloaded into the adapter, and data for lenses released in the future is preloaded into the lens memory, so there is no need to update the adapter separately for new lenses.
