The Sigma 28-105mm DG DN Art is a completely new lens, designed for full-frame mirrorless L-Mount bodies. With a bright f/2.8 aperture across the entire range and a 28-105mm focal length from wide-angle to medium telephoto, this lens is more versatile than a standard zoom.

The Sigma 28-105mm DG DN is part of the manufacturer's Art series, meaning image quality is the number one goal in the design. The construction is also durable and feels very high quality in the hand and can withstand professional use.

For video shooting, the Sigma 28-105mm F2.8 has a very minimal amount of focus breathing, i.e. the change in focal length when focusing. This means that the image does not move in a disturbing way when the focus changes!

Linear HLA autofocus is quiet and fast, meaning this is not the stumbling block to the highly advanced focusing of the new L-mount SLR cameras.

The Sigma 28-105mm F2.8 DG DN is weather sealed against dust and splashes of water. The joints between moving parts are protected by multiple seals, not just the bayonet side.
