The Røden Reporter microphone is designed for interview use. The microphone's omnidirectional pattern gives the user greater freedom in interview situations compared to directional interview microphones.

The Reporter's frequency response is optimized for recording speech. Speech is recorded intelligibly and clearly in almost all interview conditions.

The Rode Reporter features a durable aluminum construction with a subtle matte finish. The microphone has a built-in multi-layer windscreen that protects the microphone from ambient noise without the need for an additional foam windscreen. Attaches to a camera/recorder via an XLR connector.
