A fast 35mm f/1.7 lens for smaller sensor bodies like the Z50 II. This is Nikon's second prime DX-format lens for mirrorless cameras, following the previously released 24mm f/1.7.

Equivalent to a 52.5mm lens on full-frame cameras, so it has a very versatile focal length, not too narrow but also not distorting like a wider focal length. Suitable for street photography, portrait photography if you want the environment around the subject, recording landscapes and video recording thanks to the fast autofocus.

The autofocus is fast and quiet, the angle of view change during focusing is smaller than before, and the adjustment ring is silent. Focusing close up, i.e. controlling depth of field, is a breeze. In addition, thanks to its brightness, it works great when shooting in low light.
