Measure tree heights easily: The Forestry Pro II excels in situations where you want to determine the height of a tree or structure. The device allows for two- and three-point measurements. For example, in a dense forest where it is difficult to see the top or root of a tree, you can use three-point measurement. In this case, you first measure the distance to the tree trunk, and then the angles to the root and top of the tree, and the device calculates the total height of the tree for you.

Two displays and results storage

For ease of use, the device has an external LCD panel in addition to the traditional internal viewfinder. The external panel displays all measurement results (such as straight distance, horizontal distance, angle and height) simultaneously, making it easy to record the readings without having to lift the device.

The external display also has a three-level adjustable backlight, so the results are clearly visible even in the dark autumn forest. The device also makes field work easier by storing up to 250 measurement results in its own memory, so you don't necessarily have to write down every reading immediately.

Smart targeting and weather resistance

The Target Priority Switch System offers two useful modes. First Target Priority measures the closest target, while Distant Target Priority ignores branches or bushes in front and measures the tree or obstacle in the background. The latter is often an indispensable feature, especially in forestry and clearing work.

The device features high-quality 6x magnification optics with multi-coated lenses for a clear image. As a tool, the Forestry Pro II is built to last: the device itself is fully waterproof (1m for 10 minutes) and fog-free, and its battery compartment is splash-proof. The device operates reliably in temperatures from -10°C to +50°C.
