The Nikon Prostaff 1000 is a very compact and lightweight laser rangefinder that provides reliable measurement data up to 910 meters. The device is a handy tool for many purposes and its versatile measurement modes make it an excellent tool for forestry, hiking, boating and construction sites.

Intelligent Targeting (Target Priority Switch System): The Prostaff 1000 is equipped with two very useful measurement modes:

First Target Priority measures the distance to the closest target, which is useful when the target is in front of a forest or buildings in the background.

Distant Target Priority , on the other hand, ignores obstacles in front (such as grass or branches) and measures the farthest target – an excellent and popular feature, especially in forestry and when moving in dense terrain.

Fast and easy to use

The device is designed to be as simple to use as possible. You can choose between single measurement or continuous measurement. By holding down the power button, the meter will take continuous measurements for up to 8 seconds, which is convenient when tracking a moving object or searching for a small object (such as a tree trunk or the corner of a building) in challenging terrain.

If a single measurement fails immediately, the device will automatically attempt to measure the target for 4 seconds. The distance readings are clearly displayed on the device's internal display with an accuracy of one meter.

Clear image and weather resistance

The Prostaff 1000 is not just a meter, it also functions as a high-quality monocular with 6x magnification. Multi-coated lenses ensure a bright and clear image. Thanks to the long 16.7mm eye relief, the device is comfortable to use even with glasses, and the diopter adjustment allows you to focus the view exactly to your own eye.

The lightweight and pocket-sized body (91 x 73 x 37mm) fits inconspicuously in a work jacket or backpack. The device is resistant to splash water and rain (IPX4 rating), and it works reliably even in the changing conditions of Finland over a wide temperature range.
