The NANLUX Evoke 600C is a powerful, weatherproof and versatile full-color LED spotlight for demanding film, television and advertising productions. The integrated all-in-one design combines the light head, control unit and power supply in a single magnesium alloy body. The light is ready to use with a single mains cable, which speeds up set-up on location and keeps cabling tidy without the need for separate power supply boxes lying around on the ground.

The heart of the light is the 8-chip Nebula C8 light engine, which combines deep red, red, yellow, lime, green, cyan, blue and indigo light sources. The extended red spectrum corrects the traditional shortcomings of LED lights, producing natural and vibrant skin tones. The light achieves a whopping 92 percent coverage of the demanding Rec. 2020 color space. The magnesium body weighs 7.26 kg with yoke, and its IP66 enclosure rating ensures full dust and water resistance in direct pouring rain and sandstorms. The light is delivered with a padded hard carrying case with wheels.

High light output and six lighting modes

Despite its compact size, the Evoke 600C produces 20,820 lux of light output at 3 meters with the included 25-degree reflector (5600K color temperature) and 11,110 lux with green light alone. The color temperature is adjustable over an exceptionally wide range from 1000 Kelvin to 20,000 Kelvin, and comprehensive green/magenta fine-tuning (G/M ±200) allows for perfect light matching with other light sources already on location.

Valo has six capabilities for fast workflow:

• CCT mode: Wide 1000K – 20,000K color temperature with full G/M ±200 correction.
• HSI mode: 360 different color tone adjustments with 100% color saturation.
• RGBW mode: Separate control of red, green, blue and white channels.
• XY coordinates: Color control with X and Y values ??directly in the CIE 1931 color space.
• Gel mode: Digitally includes 230 LEE and 230 Rosco filters.
• Effect mode: 15 built-in dynamic lighting effects with adjustable parameters.

The dimming works very finely in 0.1% steps, and the low-end power is optimized to remain completely even for smooth light on and off transitions.

Intelligent BE attachment and mechanical control

The light uses a BE mount with electronic contact surfaces. The light automatically recognizes the connected BE smart accessory, corrects any color distortion, and can power motorized accessories (such as the FL-22E motorized Fresnel lens). The BE mount is directly compatible with Bowens adapters, and with a separate adapter, it can also use NL mount accessories.

The balance adjustment rails on the sides of the frame improve handling, as does the eccentric offset yoke, which extends the tilt angle when using large softboxes. The locking mechanism features a PosiTight dual-safety system and a mechanical angle indicator.

Versatile control and adjustable ventilation

The light can be controlled from the device's 2.4-inch display, with the included wired and IP66-protected controller (with 8-meter cable and magnetic mount), as well as wirelessly and with network cables:

• Wireless connections: Built-in LumenRadio CRMX for wireless light table control, Bluetooth-based NANLINK App 2.0 mobile control, NFC quick pairing (also works without power), and remote control ready.
• Wired network connections: 5-pin XLR DMX/RDM connectors for group control and support for Art-Net and sACN protocols via LAN adapter.

The powerful cooling system offers five fan modes. In the automatic smart mode, the sound level remains low (about 31 dBA). Full Speed ??provides full cooling, Low Speed ??limits the power to 50%, and the completely silent Off mode is set to 15%. Pause mode keeps the fan running at full power until a critical temperature is reached and the smart mode automatically turns on.
