The NANLUX Evoke 150C is a compact and lightweight LED spotlight that delivers production-grade power for mobile photography. The light is ideal for fill lighting, precise accent lighting, or for hiding in tight spaces, such as vehicle interiors and behind sets. The electronics and power supply are built directly into the light body, eliminating the need for a separate power box on the ground. This speeds up setup and keeps cabling tidy on location.

Despite its compact size, the Evoke 150C produces 22,230 lux of light output at a distance of one meter when using the included 45-degree reflector (5600K color temperature). The light uses an 8-chip Nebula C8 light engine, which combines deep red, red, yellow, lime, green, cyan, blue and indigo LED sources. The multi-spectral design allows for an exceptionally wide color temperature range from 1000K to 20,000K. Green/magenta fine-tuning (±200) makes it easy to match the light to other lighting on the shooting location. The magnesium alloy body weighs 2.11 kg without the strap, and its IP66 rating ensures full dust and water resistance in rain and demanding field conditions.

Accurate color reproduction and smooth dimming

The Nebula C8 light engine's deep red beam extends the red color spectrum, reproducing skin tones and materials with natural vibrancy without the greenish or paleness typical of LED lights. The light achieves 92% coverage of the Rec. 2020 color space, and its CRI (96) and TLCI (97) average values ??guarantee studio-quality color accuracy. The light output is smoothly adjusted from 0.0% to 100.0%, and when shooting in low light, the adjustment works in fine 0.1% steps, allowing for smooth light transitions without sudden steps.

Six lighting modes and flexible power options

The light has six ready-to-use modes: CCT color temperature mode, HSI color mode (360 shades), RGBW channel mode, XY coordinates for direct color map adjustment, digital gel mode (includes 230 LEE and 230 Rosco filters), and 15 built-in lighting effects such as flash and candle.

The power supply is flexible for field work: the device operates on mains power, a single 14.4V–28V V-Mount battery (D-Tap cable included) or via USB-C port (with at least 60W power supply). Control is possible from the device's 2.0-inch display, a smartphone via the NANLINK app, wireless DMX connection (LumenRadio CRMX), NFC quick pairing or wired DMX/RDM and Art-Net/sACN network connections.

Automatic tiller attachment and quiet fan

The FE accessory mount on the light has electrical contacts that automatically recognize compatible accessories attached to it. The mount is also compatible with FM tuners. Cooling is provided by a five-position fan system. In intelligent auto mode, the fan noise level remains extremely quiet (approximately 24 dB), allowing for interference-free recording during interviews and in sensitive filming locations.
