The NANLUX Evoke 5000B is an extremely powerful dual-color LED light for demanding film, television and large-scale productions. The device produces light output comparable to traditional 9 kW HMI lights or massive 24 kW halogen lights, but with significantly lower power consumption and without the start-up and cool-down delays. The entire system - light head, control unit and powerful power supply module - is integrated into a single magnesium alloy frame. There is no need for a separate power supply box lying on the ground, which speeds up setup and keeps cabling tidy on set.

The entire light system weighs 46 kg with the mounting bracket and has a full IP66 storm protection rating. The construction is resistant to direct rain, sand, dust and extreme humidity, allowing uninterrupted work on demanding outdoor shoots without the need for separate rain covers. This model comes with a sturdy flight case with wheels to protect the equipment and accessories during transport and equipment rental. The light also comes with a completely redesigned 30-degree high-power reflector, which offers 26% more light output compared to previous reflector models.

Accurate Nebula B4 light engine and wide green/magenta correction

At the heart of the light is the Nebula B4 Bi-Color system, which enables a wide 2700K – 6500K color temperature range and precise green and magenta fine-tuning (G/M ±80 ?uv) across the entire spectrum. This prevents color shifts and allows for perfect calibration of the light tones with other light sources already on set, saving significant time in post-production.

Flicker-free high-speed shooting and mechanical control

The light offers completely flicker-free performance even at high-speed shooting of over 10,000 fps. The precise digital dimming operates smoothly from 0.0% to 100.0%. In low-light shooting, the adjustment operates in fine increments between 0.0% and 0.1%, so the light does not jump too bright at once, but allows for soft light transitions.

Mechanical handling is facilitated by the balance adjustment rails on the frame, which make it easy to adjust the center of gravity when using heavy light modifiers. The mounting bracket with disc brakes holds the light securely at the desired angle, and the sliding rails on the bottom protect the frame from impacts when moving equipment. The Nanlux NL accessory mount with PosiTight safety lock ensures secure attachment of modifiers.

Professional control and adjustable ventilation

The light can be controlled from the device's own 4.3-inch color display, with the included wired and magnetic-based controller (with an 8-meter cable), or wirelessly and with network cables:

• Wireless connectivity: Built-in LumenRadio CRMX for wireless lightbox control, Bluetooth-based NANLINK App 2.0 mobile control, NFC quick pairing, and ready for a separate 2.4G remote control.
• Wired network connections: 5-pin XLR DMX in/out ports with RDM support, plus two LAN ports supporting Art-Net and sACN protocols for controlling multiple universes.

The cooling system has five selectable fan modes (Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, Off and Pause). In the automatic smart mode, the fan noise level remains very quiet (approximately 44 dBA), allowing for interference-free recording during interviews. In the Off and Pause modes, the fan turns off and the light output is limited to prevent overheating.
