The NANLUX Evoke 5C is an ultra-compact, pocket-sized LED light for demanding film and video productions. It combines accurate color reproduction, a durable, protected body, and a magnetic accessory ecosystem into a light that fits into tight spaces and works everywhere – from fill lighting for interviews to hidden effects lighting on sets.

At the heart of the light is an eight-chip Nebula C8 light engine that combines deep red, red, yellow, lime, green, cyan, blue and indigo light sources. The multi-spectral design ensures consistent color saturation and reproduction. The color temperature can be adjusted over an exceptionally wide range from 1000 Kelvin to 20,000 Kelvin, and comprehensive green/magenta fine-tuning (G/M ±200) allows the light to be perfectly matched to other light sources already on location, such as candlelight or window light.

High color rendering (CRI 98 and TLCI 98) ensures natural and healthy skin tones without the greenish cast typical of digital lights. Thanks to its small size (56 × 44 × 45 mm) and weight of 160 grams, the light is easy to hide out of the field of view or hold discreetly in your hand.

Full IP67 waterproof rating for field use

Evoke 5C is built to withstand the conditions where most camera gear must be protected by a bag. With an IP67 rating, it is fully dustproof and waterproof, so the light will work reliably in pouring rain or wet conditions. The body of the light can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes without a separate housing, and with a separate diving housing, it can be used underwater up to 30 meters.

Smart magnetic accessory mount

The light's magnetic accessory mount features electronic contact surfaces. Included modifiers (such as a Fresnel lens, soft dome, or crop flaps) snap into place instantly, and the light automatically recognizes the attached accessory, adjusting power and operation to suit it.

The double-sided magnetic body and 1/4"-20 thread on the base allow the light to be quickly attached to metal surfaces, bolts, tripods, or camera trolleys without the need for separate clamps.

Built-in battery and comprehensive control

The built-in battery provides approximately 50 minutes of use at full power and up to 2 hours 36 minutes at lower power. Continuous use is possible via the USB-C port with power banks or compatible battery controllers.

The light has six ready-to-use lighting modes (CCT color temperature, HSI color mode, RGBW channel mode, XY coordinates, digital gel simulation and lighting effects). In addition to the controls on the frame, it can be controlled wirelessly using the NANLINK mobile app, LumenRadio CRMX connection, NFC quick pairing or a wired DMX/RDM cable.
