The Manfrotto MOVE Quick Release Catcher System Set includes the Move Catcher Base and the Move QR Plate. The round MOVE QR Plate is attached to the bottom of a camera, for example. The quick release plate is attached to the Move Catcher Base by simply pressing it in. The locking ring is turned to secure the lock. The lock is released with a correspondingly small rotation.

The advantage of the round shape is that the position does not matter when attaching the quick plate to the base.

The Move Catcher Base has a 3/8" female thread on the bottom. It also comes with a conversion adapter that converts the thread to a smaller 1/4" thread. This means it can be attached to almost anything.
