The Manfrotto 298B is an aluminum studio tripod with a low-profile base equipped with wheels, which makes it easy to move the tripod around the studio environment.

The center tube of the light stand consists of 3 sections and 2 locks. The light stand has a load capacity of 15kg and when extended to its full length (300cm), the stand can support a weight of 5kg, which is still sufficient for many light modifiers or lights.

The Manfrotto 298 tripod has a standard 5/8" (16mm) studio spigot with a 3/8" male thread, as well as a 1 1/8" (28mm) female connection. It is possible to attach almost any spigot part to the tip of the tripod according to your needs, as well as more robust Cine spigots (28mm)

For transport, the legs fold up and the vertical tube splits into two parts.
