Manfrotto 231B Column Stand with wheels

The aluminum-built Manfrotto 231V is a so-called column stand. The Column Stand studio stand has a low-profile base with locking wheels, which makes moving the stand around the studio environment easy and quick.

The Manfrotto 231 tripod is also available in a steel version, model 231CS. The steel version has a higher load capacity at maximum height.

The vertical arm of the tripod has a pistol grip with a slot for a 5/8" (16mm) spigot. A spigot (Manfrotto 013) is included, which has a 1/4" male thread on one end and a larger 3/8" male thread on the other end. The pistol grip makes it easy to adjust the height of the device (lamp, display, etc.) attached to the handle. The height can be adjusted from almost ground level (approx. 35cm) to a height of 2.5m.

The pistol grip on the tripod arm makes height adjustment of the tripod quick and easy. The pistol grip arm itself has a standard 1/4-inch male thread,

The load capacity of the 231 B pole light is 8kg and 2kg when lifted to the full 250cm height.

For transport, the legs fold up and the vertical tube splits into two parts.
