The steel Manfrotto 270BSU Heavy Duty Stand has a maximum height of 477cm, which is enough to illuminate even larger objects from above. Of course, the stand can also be used with a camera, resulting in impressive "aerial" shots, especially if you use a wide-angle lens.

The tripod has a load capacity of 40kg. Due to its robustness, this is an excellent option for large loads, booms or, for example, a large softbox. When fully extended (477cm), the tripod can support a weight of 13.5kg, which is still sufficient for many light shapers or lights.

Because the stand rises to a high height, there is a loop at the end of the stand for a support rope or guy wire. In addition, there are holes at the ends of the stand legs, which allow the stand to be anchored to the ground with, for example, "tent poles" or long screws. A high stand should always be supported when it is raised to its maximum height and there is a heavy load on the top. Especially in windy weather.

The legs of the light stand have a double-layered footrest, and one leg also has a so-called leveling foot, meaning that the length of the foot can be changed, making the stand stable even on uneven surfaces or terrain.

The Manfrotto 269 BU tripod has a standard 5/8" (16mm) studio spigot with a 3/8" male thread. It is also possible to attach almost any sopigot part to the tip of the tripod according to your needs, as well as the more robust Cine spigots (28mm)
