Lowepro ProTactic BP 300 AW II Camera Backpack

The newest member of the ProTactic series, the 300 AW II is, in the familiar Protactic style, a highly protective backpack for camera equipment.

There are differences to other backpacks in the ProTactis series. This 300AW II is designed for everyday use with easy and quick access to the different sections of the backpack.

Backpack interior and pockets

While other members of the ProTactic family are backpacks designed entirely for camera gear, the Protactic 300 is a more versatile carrier. The interior of the backpack is divided into two parts, with half of the space reserved for camera gear and the other half for other daily gear, such as a change of clothes, etc.

The camera section is foldable like the Freeline backpack. The inner walls that keep your camera accessories safe can be removed as one section, or they can be folded up if you want to fill the backpack with other items like clothes!

Inside, you can fit, for example, a body with a 70-200 lens and 2-3 lenses or flashes. There is also a protected pocket for a 15-inch laptop inside the backpack. For smaller items, there is one zippered pocket under the top flap and two inside the side flaps.

The interior of the backpack is accessible through a flap on the top and a zippered door on each side. The top flap of the backpack closes with clips to the straps on the front of the backpack.

Exterior

The Protactic 300 AW II backpack has several Molle/Pals slots on the sides, which allow you to attach a variety of accessories, additional pockets and equipment to the backpack in addition to LowePro's SLipLock accessories. The options are endless, so you can customize the backpack to your liking. You can also use LowePro Quick Straps, carabiners or F-Stop Gatekeeper straps to attach accessories.
