LensCover protects

The multi-piece protector is made to fit snugly over the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports lens. No glue or tape is required to attach them, so the protectors are easy to remove from the device when needed. The side of the protector that faces the lens is rubberized, so the protectors don't slide around and stay firmly in place.

Nature and bird photographers and photographers who travel in nature often have to lean their lenses against rough and hard surfaces such as trees, fences or brick walls, so without protection, it is only a matter of time before the lens body gets scratched. Neoprene is water-repellent, but it does not make the lens waterproof. The cover does, however, prevent the device from getting wet better than if you were to shoot without a cover.

The cover has a plastic-coated "window" over the important buttons on the lenses, making the buttons easier to use.
