The lens structure is designed to maintain excellent colors, contrast, and sharpness across the entire image area. Inside the lens are three ED elements, which correct errors in images.

The Zero-D in the lens' name refers to the almost non-existent optical distortion that is common with wide-angle lenses. This means that lines remain almost straight even at the edges of the image with this lens.

The lens aperture ring has clear clicks that make it easy to select the desired aperture. This means you don't necessarily have to look at the aperture selected, but can focus on composing the image while adjusting the exposure with a touch of a button.
