The AutoFold light stand is for you when you need a light stand that needs to be moved around a lot. Lift the stand up and the legs will fold up. When you lower the stand back down, the legs will open to their normal position. Whether you're shooting in a cramped restaurant, a cluttered apartment, or need to navigate narrow spaces, this stand might be the solution.

AutoFold S is the smallest of Kaiser's AutoFold tripod series with a load capacity of 2.5kg. We recommend using the tripod only with a Speedlite flash or with a maximum of the AD100PRO flash.

The telescopic parts of the stand's central tube are air-damped. This means that if the lock becomes loose or if the lock is accidentally released, the flash will descend smoothly.

The end of the stand has slots for a 5/8" (16mm) spigot, which you can use either normally upwards, or at a 90-degree angle. The included spigot has a standard 1/4" male thread on one end and a 3/8" male thread on the other.
