The Rapidstand light stand is for you when you need a light stand that needs to be moved around a lot. Lift the stand up and the legs will go into a squat position. When you lower the stand back down, the legs will open to their normal position. Whether you're shooting in a cramped restaurant, a cluttered apartment, or need to navigate narrow spaces, this stand might be the solution.

With a load capacity of 5kg, the Caruba Rapidstand can reach a maximum height of 220cm. The transport length with the stand is 87cm and the weight is 1.8kg, so this stand is not a large portable one.

The end of the stand has slots for a 5/8' (16mm) spigot, which you can use either normally upwards, or at a 90-degree angle. The included spigot has a standard 1/4' male thread on one end and a 3/8' male thread on the other.
