The advantages of a ring light include that you can shoot through the light, which means that the light hitting the subject is even. In addition to producing even and almost shadow-free light, the light creates round eye reflections (catch light) on the subject's eyes, making the subject you are filming more vivid.

The quality of light is described by the color rendering index (CRI), which is a good 90 for this light . This means realistic and well-reproduced colors and skin tones. With poor quality lights, colors remain muted and the image may have a pale yellow color cast, which looks bad in photos and videos.

The brightness of the Godox LR150 light is infinitely adjustable as needed. In addition, the color temperature is adjustable in the 3000-6000K range, meaning that if the ambient lighting is atmospheric and warm, you can get the additional light to work in exactly the same tone range and the additional light will not stand out glaringly in the image. With the adjustable color temperature, you can, for example, test how your makeup looks in the sun or artificial light.

The 15-inch, or approximately 40cm in diameter, LED ring light weighs 880 grams. Thanks to the standard 5/8' mount, the LR150 can be attached to almost any light stand.
