The Peak Design Shell is a protective hood that protects your valuable camera from water, snow, sand, dust, and abrasion. The cover's stretchy fabric molds to your camera. The hood features Anchor Link ports, so you can use it with any strap.

The Peak Design Shell is primarily a cover that protects your camera when you're out in the wild, for example, and your camera is hanging from a strap or attached to a Capture Clip. However, by rolling the protective hood away slightly, you can access the camera controls and viewfinder, so you can also shoot with the hood on.

Shell protectors come in three different sizes, S, M and L.

• Small: For mirrorless cameras with any lens, and for body-mounted mirrorless cameras with prime lenses (no battery grip)
• Medium: For crop sensors with any lens and battery grip, as well as for full-frame sensors (no battery grip)
• Large: For full-cell powerhouses with battery grip

Tips

• There are two different sizes of Shells to fit most cameras. The smaller one fits tightly around the camera and the larger one is looser.
• A tight-fitting Shell case is more suitable if you are carrying your camera in a Capture mount.
• Looser is better if you plan to use the cover during active shooting. Easier to access camera controls.
• The advantage of the larger model is that if you change to a larger lens, the cover will likely fit it as well.
• Get a smaller size if you rarely shoot with telephoto lenses and don't use a battery grip.
• Get a larger size if you often shoot with a telephoto lens or use a battery grip.
