Canon XF605 UHD 4K HDR Pro Professional Camcorder

Canon XF605 is a professional and production-grade camcorder. Includes a shooting grip with voice controls. A convenient combination of 1' sensor size image quality and a 15x bright zoom lens with a 25.5-382mm cine equivalent lens. The lens is also surrounded by the familiar red ring of the Canon L series as a guarantee of quality. The camera combines the reliability of a professional device with video recording without time limits, making it suitable for corporate videos, documentation, online advertising shoots, nature videos and streaming.

The camera belongs to the so-called professional ENG video camera category (Electronic News Gathering). This means, among other things, full manual control, XLR connectors and time coding for shared use of multiple cameras. It also includes a 12G-SDI connection.

One of the most important features of professional video is sound, and the XF605 camcorder can be connected directly to two XLR phantom power microphones, the recording level of which can be adjusted during filming. The camera also has its own internal microphone and a 3.5mm microphone jack. In total, sound can be recorded simultaneously on four channels.

The Canon XF605 records 4K UHD video in 10-bit or 8-bit color depth at a maximum speed of 60FPS. It uses Canon Log 3 and HLG HDR wide-gamut shooting modes. Recording is on two internal SD cards. Full HD videos are available at 60 or 50fps and are upsampled from 4K resolution.

The battery type is the Canon BP-A series, meaning that the battery alone provides enough power for longer shooting sessions.
