Canon PZ-E2B Power Zoom Adapter

The Canon PZ-E2B Power Zoom Adapter allows you to motorize Canon USM Z series lenses (especially the RF 24-105 f/2.8 L USM Z). This way, you can get even more precise and smooth results for your video.

The zoom speed can be adjusted continuously. The adapter is powered by the camera battery via the power connector on the lens.

The PZ-E2B attaches to the side of the USM Z lens using the three included thumbscrews and fits comfortably in your hand. The adapter is a handy addition whether you're shooting handheld, rigged, or with the camera mounted on a tripod or gimbal. For longer shooting, you can use an external USB-C power supply with the zoom unit, such as Canon's own PD-E1 power supply.

The PZ-E2B differs from the lighter E2 version in that the adapter features a 20-pin connector for remote control. The connector allows for the connection of compatible zoom and focus control devices for studio or large-scale production environments. The PZ-E2B is also compatible with the Canon Zoom Servo Grip ZSG-C10. The connector also provides lens metadata support for VFX and virtual productions.
