Brinno is one of the most popular cameras for TimeLapse photography. Brinno works as a so-called construction site camera, allowing you to effortlessly shoot interval videos of construction/renovation projects. The camera is suitable for contractors, gardeners or even architects for filming long-term projects. Of course, the device is also suitable for filming sunsets, northern lights, etc., or even for filming the production of art projects.

The Brinno EMPOWER TLC2000 included in the package records a finished video from the still images it takes at FullHD 1920x10800 resolution. The camera automatically assembles a video file from the still images taken, meaning there is no need to manually stitch together the images or do any other post-processing.

Shooting modes

Timelapse: The camera takes a picture at a certain interval. You can set the picture taking interval from 1s to 24h. When you stop recording, the camera automatically compiles the pictures into a video. Suitable for example for shooting sunsets, construction projects, etc.

Step Video: The camera records a video clip of a set length at specific intervals. For example, a 3-second video clip every 5 seconds. Finally, the camera automatically compiles these clips into one video file.

Stop Motion: A shooting mode for making puppet animations or even Lego/wax animations. The image is taken manually, and the camera automatically assembles the video.

Brinno is powered by four AA batteries, which can store up to 240,000 photos, depending on the settings. Files are stored on a microSD memory card, from which files can be easily transferred to a computer. The maximum capacity of the memory card is 128GB. An 8GB memory card can hold approximately 13,000 photos at the best quality.

The shooting frequency of the drone camera, or the image capture interval, is possible from 1 second to 24 hours, so the device works for recording both faster and less frequent events. A longer time interval is suitable for monitoring natural objects, for example, you can film the growth of plants. A more frequent time interval is excellent when filming a construction site or other event where a lot is happening.

The Brinno ATH2000 Weather Resistant Power Housing is a protective housing that provides additional power for Brinno TLC cameras.

The housing holds 16 AA batteries, which greatly increases the camera's operating time. For example, the TLC200 Pro camera has an operating time of about 11 days at 5s intervals with the camera's own batteries. The 16 batteries in the ATH2000 housing increase the operating time by about 70 days, so in total, the TLC200Pro can shoot for about 81 days with this housing.
