The Atomos Shinobi II is a touchscreen monitor that has been updated with a 50% brighter display, a slimmer design, and new features. Shinobi now has the ability to control a camera via a USB cable. The monitor supports 4K 30fps and 1080p 60fps video via HDMI. The operating system has been updated to the new AtomOS 11 version, which makes it even faster and offers new features.
The monitor allows you to monitor camera settings, battery charge and recording time. The camera can be controlled by connecting it to the monitor's USB-C or 2.5mm LANC port. Compatible with Canon, Sony and Panasonic cameras. The manufacturer has promised that the monitor will also be compatible with Fujifilm, Nikon, OM System and Sigma cameras in the future.
Includes a locking HDMI/USB-D adapter, which, together with the new Atomos locking cables, prevents the connection from being accidentally disconnected.
The Shinobi II can be powered by Sony NP-F batteries or a USB-C PD charger. The USB-C port can also be used to power the camera via a monitor.
