The Aputure Amaran 200x S is the updated S version of the very popular light series. This 200x is the most powerful light in the series. The new S series has improved light quality even more.

This 200x is a Bi-color light, meaning the color temperature can be adjusted between 2700-6500K. This allows you to illuminate a subject in different lighting conditions with the same color light, create mixed light, or create a warmer or cooler tone in addition to neutral daylight, as needed.

The color rendering index (CRI), which describes the quality of light, is a high 95 for this light. This means realistic and beautifully reproduced colors and skin tones.

The device comes with a mains power supply, but with a separate V-Mount adapter you can also use V-Lock/V-Mount batteries. Two batteries are required per light.

Brightness is continuously adjustable from 0% to 100%.

The Amara 200X S LED light has pre-programmed effects that simulate, for example, lightning, the flickering light of a TV, a slightly broken lamp, etc.

In studio conditions, the light is powered by mains power, but the device also supports V-Mount batteries with an optional adapter, making it also suitable for filming on location.

Thanks to the Bowens mount, you can attach a wide range of light modifiers to the light, from Amaran, Godox and Westcott, for example. An umbrella mount is also included as standard.
