The Zeiss Batis 2.8/135 lens is weather-sealed and designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions. The lens's image stabilization makes handheld shooting easier than ever, even in low light. The Batis series products support all the features and functions of current Sony E-series cameras.

The optical construction consists of 14 elements in 11 groups. ZEISS has invested in redesigning and simplifying the structure to keep chromatic aberration as low as possible. Images captured with the lens have very little distortion and are extremely high in contrast and resolution across the entire image area, both on Sony full-frame and APS-C sensor cameras.
