Special lens for portrait photographers! The 75mm focal length with this aperture is an option that works even with a viewfinder, meaning the accuracy of the viewfinder is sufficient for this.

The aperture and focal length mean a shallow depth of field, and the crowning glory is the 12 diaphragm plates, meaning that subjects stand out beautifully from their backgrounds.

The focusing distance is the same 70cm as in many Leica cameras, which means you can get a little closer to the details than with a traditional 50mm lens. Leica bodies also have 75mm lens cropping rings, so cropping is also possible.
