The Voigtlander Nokton 50mm offers a maximum aperture of F1.2. Beautiful detail even at full aperture and improves to near perfectiong when decreasing aperture. This is large for a rangefinder lens, but compared to equivalent basic systems, at 322g and about 6cm in length, it is small for such a bright lens.

If you are looking for a fast 50mm lens with a Leica M mount, this may be the best choice for many, especially if you are using an older digital camera with a slightly more limited ISO sensitivity.
