Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 AF II (Sony E) lens

The Viltrox E-85 F1.8 AF II is a fast lens for Sony FE -mount cameras. The 85mm focal length and large f/1.8 aperture make this lens excellent for portraits and nature photography. The large aperture allows for shooting in low light and a narrow depth of field to emphasize the subject. The lens works with APS-C sensor size cameras such as the A6700 and full-frame cameras such as the Sony A7 III.

The lens also supports autofocus. The Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 AF II lens has a quiet and precise STM focusing motor, which can focus at a minimum distance of 80cm. The lens can also be used with manual focus. Aperture adjustment is also possible via the camera.

This lens is made of metal and glass. The lens elements are coated with HD Nano Multi-Layer Coating, which reduces reflections and protects the structure from moisture. However, the lens is not weatherproof.

One of the lenses is an ED element and four of the lenses are made of ultra-clear glass. This reduces aberration and other chromatic aberrations. In addition, there is one large ASP (aspherical) element inside the lens, which reduces distortion and enables very sharp images.

The lens has a USB port for updates.
