The versatile Transcend RDC8K memory card reader is equipped with the new USB Type-C interface, which is used in, among others, Apple's new MacBooks and Google's Chromebook computers.

The USB 3.1 bus offers transfer speeds up to ten times faster than a USB 2.0 card reader. The reader transfers a gigabyte from a UHS-1 SD card to your computer in less than 20 seconds. The reader is also USB 2.0 compatible.

Also included is the Photo Recovery Tool - a digital photo rescue tool.
