The Thypoch Simera-C 75mm T1.5 is a fast telephoto lens optimized for video shooting. These lenses are based on the Thypoch Simera Leica M lenses, but include film-oriented features such as 0.8 MOD serrated aperture and focus rings and no fewer than 16 diaphragm blades.

Thanks to its compact size and light weight, this cinema lens is a great companion for new cinema cameras, such as the Canon C50 and Nikon Z bodies.

Note: The Leica M bayonet has been chosen because it is very universal, meaning it can be attached to any cinema camera with an adapter. But this lens is not worth buying for Leica cameras, because the rangefinder does not engage for focusing!

Thypochin is owned by DZO, which manufactures cinema lenses, and this foundation is reflected in Thypochin's products: in addition to the raw resolution, the images taken with the lens have a certain sound and their own way of drawing. The resolution and sharpness are good at full aperture, but the drawing improves by stopping down an aperture or two. Modern structures with special lenses and effective coatings are used, meaning it is a tasteful combination of two different worlds. The lens has no less than 16 rounded diaphragm plates, so the background remains nice even at different apertures, and the device has better weather protection than the still versions of the series.

Compared to DZO's actual film lenses, there is slightly more color difference between these lenses, and focus breathing is visible when focusing, meaning the focal length of the image changes slightly.
