SmallRig 5899 Intelligent V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate is a battery plate designed for cinema cameras and heavier filming equipment, with an integrated Arca-Swiss quick release. The device allows the use of V-Mount batteries to power demanding equipment and speeds up the transfer of equipment, for example from handheld shooting to a tripod.

The battery plate's hot-swap feature allows you to replace a dead battery without interrupting power to the camera or accessories during shooting. The battery plate has two discharge modes, allowing it to discharge the connected batteries either individually in sequence or simultaneously to maximize runtime.

The device offers extensive inputs and outputs for powering your equipment. Each D-Tap and BP output supports up to 100 watts of continuous power, and the device’s internal circuitry keeps the voltage stable at 15 volts even when the batteries’ own charge is low. The USB-C port on the side supports 65 watts of Power Delivery fast charging in both directions, allowing for both self-charging of the system and efficient power supply of other devices. The integrated Arca-Swiss base allows the entire camera system to be quickly locked onto any Arca-compatible tripod head.
