The Smallrig 3579 V-mount battery is, as its name suggests, mini-sized but with maximum power. According to the manufacturer, the battery is approximately 30% smaller than similar batteries of the same power.

The Smallrig VB50 supports two-hour USB-C PD charging, meaning the battery can be charged via USB-C and this can provide additional power to, for example, cameras and laptops.

In addition to the USB connector, the battery has a traditional D-Tap and USB Type A connectors. The charge status can be seen on the convenient OLED display.
