While regular Li-ion batteries freeze in freezing temperatures, this Extreme Cold Endurance version continues to reliably supply power even at temperatures as low as -40°C without the need for separate heaters . No more chemical heaters

The battery's specially engineered cell technology and circuitry are optimized for cold temperatures. This eliminates the need to tape chemical heaters to the side of the battery or use insulated protective bags. You can focus on shooting and be confident that your monitor, lights, or camera will be powered even in freezing temperatures.

To achieve extreme frost resistance, the battery uses a special chemistry, which means a slight compromise in capacity compared to "summer batteries". The 7500 mAh (54 Wh) capacity is a conscious choice to ensure reliability: this battery works when standard batteries with a higher capacity would have already stopped working due to the cold.

Smart USB-C charging and power backup feature

This is not just a camera battery, but also a powerful power bank. The battery has USB-C and USB-A ports directly on the body, which work independently. Thanks to the 36W PD fast charging, the battery can be fully charged in just about 2 hours via the USB-C port. You no longer need bulky separate battery chargers, but can charge the battery directly with your laptop charger or power bank. You can also charge your phone from the USB-A port while powering your camera accessory from the USB-C port (max. 54W total power).

The battery has a clear OLED display on top that shows the remaining charge in precise percentages. The display is conveniently activated with a touch button.
