SMALLRIG 2982 Cage improves the durability and stability of Canon EOS R5 / R5C and R6 cameras, and provides more accessory slots. It fits the camera body perfectly while maintaining access to the memory card, controls, and allows for hassle-free battery replacement.

A row of 1/4' screw-threaded mounting holes on the top of the frame for the SmallRig Top Handle (1984), a NATO rail for a handle (2439), and a built-in cold shoe for attaching a microphone or video light.

For example, the Side Handle 2093 is attached to the side of the frame.

The HDMI & USB Lock 2981B cable clamp can be attached to 1/4' threaded holes for improved cable management and protection of the HDMI cable. The frame has a wide range of 1/4' and 3/8' threaded mounting holes on the underside, which can be used to attach Manfrotto and Vinten quick release plates.

Note: This cage does not fit the R6 Mark II. For the R6 II, please choose Smallrig 4159 .
