The Slik SMH-250 Micro Adjustment Mount is a bit like a precision cinema head that allows you to adjust two axes; pan and tilt. The product is suitable for precision-requiring tasks such as aligning the SLIK ECH-630 Astro Tracker device. The device has three different adjustments:

• Quick adjustment for tilting from approximately 0-90 degrees
• Fine-tuning the tilt (by a few degrees)
• Fine-tuning the panning (by a few degrees)

Thanks to the fine adjustment of the panning, this can also be attached directly to a tripod. With the adjustments, a measuring device, laser or tracking device (e.g. SLIK ECH-630) can be aimed with absolute precision slightly next to the North Star. The device is accurate to less than a hundredth of a degree. This accuracy class is not exaggerated if the intention is to photograph stars with exposures of several minutes.

The base has an Acra-Swiss compatible plate and three 1/4" tripod threads.
